Portrush is a seaside resort town in County Antrim, Northern Ireland, on the
County Londonderry border. The main part of the old town, including the railway station as well as most hotels, restaurants and bars, is built on a mile–long peninsula.

During the summer season Portrush attracts a large number of visitors to the area, its natural outstanding beauty complimented by the North Coast scenery makes this seaside town very popular with visitors from around the world.

When it comes to to a holiday for all the family then Portrush is the place to be with its night clubs, restaurants, amusement arcades, outdoor activities including full size tennis courts, water sports, boat trips, fishing etc. and with 2 excellent golf courses there is plenty to occupy all the family.

Some of the other main attractions just a few minutes away include Dunluce Castle, Bushmills Distillery, the White Rocks and the world famous Giants Causeway.

Portrush plays host to the annual North West 200 motorcycle races each May, this event attracts all the top riders from around the world to test their skills while racing on closed public roads with speeds exceeding 200 mph. Riders past and present include Carl Fogarty, Joey Dunlop, Phil Read, John Mc Guinness & Ryan Farquhar, over 100,000 spectators attend the event each year.
